Branch Manager (Columbus Office)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the branch location, including all aspects of customer service, inventory control, staff supervision, and other management responsibilities. Shall maintain an ongoing comprehensive working knowledge of the company’s merchandise and equipment, applicable reimbursement, and coordinate marketing efforts in their market area. Shall coordinate long range planning and budgeting with administration and participate as an integral member of the company management team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of branch goals for growth of store revenue in conjunction with company goals
  • Maintain complete and accurate files on all customers to insure efficient billing and follow-up care according to company policy
  • Maintaining complete and accurate petty cash records and submitting requests for reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Participate in the hiring, training and providing continued education of staff at the branch location
  • Oversee efficient, timely deliveries and repairs to maintain compliance
  • Monitor quality assurance records for improved organizational performance
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and efficient, timely ordering of inventory items
  • Ensures the company's standard of excellence by maintaining a well organized office and warehouse area
  • Conducting staff meetings on a regular basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Home health care industry preferred
  • Office records development, maintenance, and control practices
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and the ability to learn new software

Payroll Processor/Accounting Assistant

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will provide accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in data entry payroll processing, and assist in the accounting and human resource departments as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform daily payroll department operation
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Process and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications and compliance
  • Prepare and process payroll bi-weekly via our payroll processing system.
  • Run commission and bonus reports after month end close
  • Calculate the commission and bonuses earned by salesman and/or employees on such a program
  • Send out any commission and bonus reports by the end of day on the pay date.
  • Pass out pay stubs and any paper checks on pay date
  • Detect and process issues related to payroll
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
  • Assists with processing accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2’s, ESR, 1095-C’s)
  • Prepare and enter journal entries as directed.
  • Participate in month end close process as required
  • Administers the 401(k) plan and completes yearly compliance reporting
  • Prepare payments to the 401k program and HSA accounts after each pay period
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Paychex Flex, Accounting, and Human Resources
  • Laws, regulations, and rules governing payroll and employment law
  • Organizational development, financial operations, and human resources
  • General office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to:

Education:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or equivalent work experience

Delivery Driver/Technician

Job Description:

The Delivery Driver/Technician is responsible for the delivery, set up, pick up and has the ability to perform basic service repairs of durable medical equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.

The right candidate will be able to pass drug, physical, driving and background checks. Also, the ability to rotate in our evening/weekend on-call is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform delivery, service and pick up of medical equipment
  • Efficiently manage delivery route and meet delivery deadlines
  • Ability to accurately load van according to daily route and ensure that all equipment or products are in good working order
  • Ability to instruct patients on use and care of equipment and provide high-quality customer service at all times
  • Must maintain a high level of product knowledge on all respiratory and DME equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, complete minor repairs and assemble equipment to manufacturer guidelines
  • Safely maintain and operate company delivery vehicles
  • Drive safely without accidents and in compliance with laws
  • Submit accurate and compliant documentation
  • Work overtime as needed and on-call (rotation)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Service Technician (Cleveland & Columbus office)

Job Description:

We are seeking a positive and ambitious candidate to join our growing team. This roll will be responsible to deliver, set-up, and perform service repairs of durable medical equipment to our home care client/patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.

The right candidate will be able to pass drug, physical, driving and background checks. Also, the ability to rotate in our evening/weekend on-call is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, tests, install, diagnoses, and services both client owned and rental equipment in the shop and in the field according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Cleans and maintains rental/stock equipment in working order
  • Ensures repair area and company vehicles are kept neat, clean, and organized; completing checklists as required
  • Completes all paperwork accurately and to company standards for each job
  • Delivers and picks up equipment, assures that all documentation is complete and accurate with proper signatures obtained.
  • Trains/educates customers and caregivers in the proper use, care, and safety of equipment
  • Accesses current information from manufacturers on repair and parts
  • Ability to work assigned evening and weekend on call duty according to schedules
  • Accurately verify that all equipment leaving the warehouse has been cleaned, properly tagged, and is properly operational
  • Follows all safety and procedures as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Auto mechanics experience helpful
  • Two years' experience in mechanical assembly and/or repair of mechanical or electrical devices required
  • Must possess a valid State Driver's License, and acceptable driving record
  • Previous experience using hand and power tools
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and organized to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software

Warehouse Assistant/Inside Service Technician (Cleveland & Columbus)

Job Description:

The Warehouse Assistant/Inside Service Tech will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion, shipping and receiving of inventory, overseeing the power mobility, cleaning and minor repair of equipment, assist in assembly of rehab equipment as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis instruments
  • Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices
  • Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning, lubricating, or adjusting equipment
  • Test, evaluate, and classify excess or in-use medical equipment and determine serviceability, condition, and disposition, in accordance with regulations
  • Update the weekly physical inventory of all par level stock equipment
  • Maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion with purchase, rental and loaner equipment segregated
  • Oversee that all orders are pulled from stock, function tested, staged and ready for delivery
  • Maintain all equipment and the warehouse to meet OSHA and JCAHO standards at all times
  • Receiving of all supplies, rental, manufacture demo and purchase inventory equipment and verifies that it is correct
  • Must maintain high level of product knowledge on all DME equipment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous experience in warehouse
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Rehab Equipment Sales-RTS/ATP (Cleveland & Columbus Office)

Job Description:

The Rehab Equipment Salesman is responsible for marketing company equipment and services to prescriber influences and/or patients/clients. They are also responsible to provide assistive technology to meet the clinician and consumer objectives, while securing rehab technology sales for the branch maintaining currentbusiness and/or accounts within the funding coverage criteria. Improve the quality of life to the individuals we serve by providing mobility, independence and positioning.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of wheeled mobility systems, seating and positioning, ambulation assistance, environmental control and assistance in daily living
  • Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment is required, as well as knowledge of regulations and administrative policies affecting funding sources
  • Ability to physically assess rehabilitation clients for seating and mobility needs, including the proper measurement and patient skills impacting use of rehab equipment, and assure that functional goals are established at the evaluation
  • Assess the home and other environments for conditions that may impact the proper use of equipment and evaluate for bath and safety equipment and aids for daily living
  • Attains assigned sales goals and objectives as established at the beginning of each fiscal year; a demonstrable track record of success
  • Maintain a strong professional relationship with clients, medical personnel, vendors and key referral sources
  • Understands and applies insurance reimbursement policies to a variety of medical equipment
  • Responds to customer/referral inquiries, requests and complaints in a timely manner
  • Maintains certifications and licenses; maintains eligible status with various vendor system as required
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics, codes and conduct

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of clinical experience with extensive knowledge of rehabilitation and/or Bachelors degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Current Assistive Technology Professional or Rehabilitation Technology Supplier certification preferred
  • Minimum 6 months experience in durable medical equipment required
  • Ability to pass a drug, physical, driving and background check
