Group I- Preventative Support Surfaces

Foam Mattress Replacements are made of high-density, open-cell foam which allows the mattress to conform to a patient's own curvatures. It is a low-maintenance option for someone at risk for skin breakdown. (250-pound weight limit)

Gel Foam Overlays have four large gel bladders placed inside a 3-inch high foam casing that provide additional pressure relief and comfort to a patient's existing mattress. This is an additional option when looking for an easy solution to skin breakdown prevention. (250-pound weight limit)

Alternating Pressure Overlays are a powered air overlay with horizontal cells that silently alternate, allowing for pressure relief on certain areas of the body at any given time. There are varied settings to allow the patient control over the overlay's firmness (250-pound weight limit)

Static Air Overlays are a non-powered air overlay with sporadic holes that provide air circulation and moisture dissipation for the patient. "Han Wells" allow for caregiver assistance with rolling, transfers or sitting. (300-pound weight limit)

Group II- Therapeutic Support Surfaces

Low Air-Loss/Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement: Low air-loss therapy wicks away excess moisture caused from sweating or some incontinence, and immerses the patient to distribute pressure. Other options are available on select mattress pumps, including an upright function wich prevents "bottoming out" while elevated in bed. (400-pound weight limit. Bariatric sizes available.)

Dry Floatation Overlays are made up of four sections (zones) to accommodate different body types. Individual air cells allow for increased blood flow, less friction/sheering on the skin, and ideal contouring to the patient's body. The overlay is non-powered and adjusted manually with a hand pump. No weight limit.
