Health Aid of Ohio will work with you to meet all of your home and vehicle accessibility needs. Accessibility products are not usually covered by insurance companies with the exception of some waiver programs.  These products for the home and automobile can lower the stress of everyday life, and can also increase the independence of an individual throughout their home.

Ramps

Van Ramps

Van ramps are recommended for one to three steps, curbs and mini-vans. They are compact and foldable. Hitch-mounted, side-door and rear-door models are available. Van ramps are semi-permanent and ideal for long-term chair users. Contact Us for More Information!

Vehicle Lifts

Vehicle lifts provide a safe and effortless way to lift, store, and allow transportation of your unoccupied wheelchair, scooter or powerchair. Structural modifications to your vehicle are not necessary.

Portable Ramps

Portable ramps come in a simple and multiple-fold models. They are ideal for portability and are available in 2-8 foot lengths. They can be rented or purchased.

Permanent or Modular Ramp

ADA guidelines indicate that there should be one foot of ramp for every inch of height. For example, two 8-inch steps would require a 16-foot ramp. Modular ramps allow for many configurations, require minimal maintenance and can be moved from one home to another. Pricing is determined by the individual size requirements.

LIFTS

Porch Lifts

The space required for a ramp may not be available or patient may simply prefer an alternative to a ramp. Vertical Lifts/Porch Lifts can provide 2-12 feet or vertical lift. They are durable and do not take up much space. Contact Us for More Information!

Stair Lifts

A stair lift is an ideal solution for people who can walk but are having a hard time or are unable to climb the stairs. If your house has bedrooms or bathrooms on a separate level from the main living area and you would rather not move, a stair lift is a low-cost answer to these problems. Installation is simple and the lifts can be removed and moved to a compatible stairway in a future home.
